Testimonials
“ The people at Olathe Toyota never fail to answer my questions. They work as a team to help you solve any problems. I’ve purchased 3 cars from them, and each time has been a great experience. Even after looking at other dealerships I always come back to this one. ”
“ This is my go-to Toyota parts source and I live in WA. I recently placed an order and screwed up because I selected I would pick up the parts rather than having them delivered. Tanner stepped up and helped me update my order and get it all figured out. These guys are a group of great people. Deal with confidence. Thanks again Tanner!! ”
“ (Translated by Google) EXCELLENT SERVICE (Original) EXCELENTE ATENCION ”
“ I've been using this dealer exclusively for my car repairs for the past five years. Each time, I've left deeply satisfied with my experience. They are very dilligent, caring, and consider costs in their recommendations. I had the happy surprise of finding my car washed when picking it up. I definitely recommend them. ”
“ Prompt, thorough & timely. ”
“ Very pleasant purchase experience, and their service team has been very accommodating ”
“ Just got myself a new Tacoma, LOVE IT! Brandon was great in getting me what I wanted without the pressure of the "Used car salesman" type attitude. ”
“ As a traveling nurse, having a reliable and fuel-efficient car was extremely important to me, and I couldn’t be happier with my new hybrid Toyota Corolla. I’m getting around 50.2 MPG, which has already made a huge difference with all the driving I do. On top of that, the great interest rate and two years of maintenance-free coverage made this purchase even better. Bryce made the entire process smooth and stress-free, and I would absolutely recommend him and the dealership to anyone looking for a professional, straightforward, and enjoyable car-buying experience. ”
“ Olathe Toyota took care of everything! They were very knowledgeable and friendly, but never pushy! Kendal is amazing at what he does! Thank you!! ”
“ I have bought several Toyotas from Olathe Toyota, and every time it’s been in a seamless experience ”
“ Great experience- quick and easy. Staff were friendly! ”
“ Olathe Toyota always delivers on maintenance requirements with ideas on future needs for my vehicle. ”
“ August and Yo were extremely helpful in getting me a great deal for my trade in and payment that allowed me to drive away in my dream vehicle! ”
“ The entire sales team made the buying process smooth and efficient from start to finish. I appreciated how straightforward everything felt - there was no unnecessary pressure at any point. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and clearly focused on making the experience as easy as possible, which really stood out compared to other places I've dealt with. ”
“ I had a great experience working with Travis at Olathe Toyota, even though I ultimately didn’t end up purchasing a vehicle. From the moment I arrived, he was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely focused on helping me explore my options without any pressure. Travis took the time to understand what I was looking for, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and provided clear, honest information throughout the process. I really appreciated his patience and willingness to help, even knowing that I was still considering multiple options. What stood out most was his professionalism and commitment to good customer service—he treated me with respect and care from start to finish, without the typical pushy sales tactics you might expect. Even though I didn’t make a purchase this time, I wouldn’t hesitate to return and work with Travis in the future. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely customer-focused salesperson. ”
On April 30, 2026, I noticed a voltage malfunction
“ On April 30, 2026, I noticed a voltage malfunction warning on my 2017 Toyota Highlander, possibly related to the alternator or battery. I went to Olathe Toyota, my regular (home) dealership, and spoke with a service advisor. I explained everything in detail and showed him all the warning messages displayed on my vehicle’s screen. He told me they were unable to fix my car at that time and offered to schedule an appointment for another day. I then asked him whether he believed the car was safe to drive, and he said yes. Hearing that gave me some confidence, so I agreed to schedule the appointment for a later date. However, when I returned to my car, it would not start at all. Fortunately, a technician kindly helped me by charging the battery so I could get the car running again. Even after that, the same warning messages were still showing, indicating that the issue was serious and potentially unsafe to drive. That technician then introduced me to another excellent service advisor, Adam White. After seeing the situation, Adam immediately recognized that it was not safe for me to drive the vehicle and made sure I did not leave in a dangerous condition. I am writing this comment to express my sincere appreciation for Adam White’s professionalism and care. At the same time, I hope the first service advisor I spoke with will be more careful in handling situations like this in the future, as they directly affect customer safety. ”
“ My wife and I came looking for a truck. Bryant M came right up and introduced himself to us. He asked us questions about what we were looking for. After explaining everything to him he helped us find the perfect truck! Bryant was easy to work with, knowledgeable, respectful, and not pushy at all! It was a pleasure to work with him. ”
“ Prompt customer service in the service department. Did the job and delivered on time. The shuttle service is great. ”
“ I've been an Olathe Toyota customer for 5 years now, and I've been lucky enough to purchase two vehicles from them. They are never pushy and do an excellent job of listening to what I need and helping me get there. They also have an amazing service department and honestly just make anything that has to do with my vehicles extremely easy to deal with. ”
“ The service advisors and the parts department are excellent. The waiting room is very comfortable. I love their coupons and the buy 3 tires get one free deal. ”
We purchased a used Toyota Highlander a couple weeks ago.
“ We purchased a used Toyota Highlander a couple weeks ago. Bryant Madden greeted us and showed us immediately what we were looking for. He didn't pressure us and was very pleasant to work with. We are enjoying our Highlander very much! Daniel in finance was also great to work with. ”
“ We bought a new Grand Highlander Hybrid Max from Olathe Toyota. The vehicle is gorgeous and we love it. The process went very smoothly through handing us the keys. We agreed to electronic documents. They sent the closing docs to us via email. But, due to the excitement we could not remember our password so we could not open them. I needed the odometer doc on our trade in to get a refund for the unused portion of the extended warrenty. I contacted our sales person and asked him to take pictures of the Title and the odometer doc, he said he would do it. That was on 3/24. When I did not hear back from him that evening I called Finance and left a message. No response. The next day 3/25, I texted the sales rep 1st thing and I called Finance again mid morning and left another message. The receptionist said he was in, but not at his desk. No call back no text. On 3/26 I went down to the Dealership and spoke with the receptionist Debbie. I asked to speak with the GM and she artfully told me where he sat and he was not there, so she skillfully inserted herself into the problem, got me to a nice gentleman in Finance and the problem was solved. Debbie's worth to the organization is great and her worth to me as a consumer may even be greater! My rating would be lower had it not been for Debbie. ”
“ Toyota did fix my car in a timely manner however the service fee was extremely high! The mechanic worked on my car for about 7 hours but I was charged a labor rate of 10 hours. I know because I gave the go ahead at 9 am to start working on it and it was ready by 4. That’s 7 hours. When I asked why the labor fee was so high they told me the mechanic worked on my car for 10 hours so then I asked how much he made per hour and they told me $189 so if you did the math that would cost $1323.. I was charged $2020 which is basically for a 10.5 hour day. Also they usually wash and vacuum the car on just a service or oil change which costs a fraction of what I paid but this time when I spent a fortune they did no cleaning. Basically I felt like my car was rushed so the mechanic can get to the next job asap.I think I will be going somewhere else for regular services and only use Toyota if it’s a Prius problem. ”
“ I went in today to have my oil change and tire rotation upon exiting the service mgr. Went over my car information the tec has found. I was told my front brakes measured at 8 and back brakes at 10 . I informed him that they both should mean at 10 because I just had the brakes serviced in less than 1,yr. He checked the computer and said no you only had the back brakes serviced, upon is going back and forth I told him I would go home and check my information. As I was pulling off he ran to my car and said he looked at it wrong I did have both front and back replaced but couldn't change the paperwork so the front and back would correspond correct. I explained to him that I came back right after they had done my work in October because the brakes were not feeling any different. I don't think my front brakes were replaced and they just got over on me as a senior. ”
“ Recently had a software upgrade due to factory recall. Was not told in advance that it would take 3 to 4 hours. Should have been informed. No one enjoys sitting in waiting area that long. ”
“ You guys got car purchase but your salesman leaving never coming back to check on process and have the porter take off tag had me livid after almost 3 hours of waiting to purchase the vehicle. Don’t think I’ll be back if this is customer service you provide ”
“ Never going here again. Recommended critical repairs cosing over 5k that were entirely unneeded. STAY AWAY. ”
“ I recently purchased a vehicle from Olathe Toyota and within less than 1,000 miles of ownership, while still on the temporary tag, I started getting multiple check engine codes including P0171, P0441, P0445, and P117B. The vehicle also developed a high idle, fuel smell, and eventually would not start after refueling. To be clear, I understood I was buying a used vehicle as-is. I wasn’t expecting perfection, and I wasn’t looking for a handout. Instead of immediately blaming the dealership, I spent my own time diagnosing the issue myself. After troubleshooting the vehicle, I determined the EVAP purge valve had failed. I ordered the replacement part directly from Olathe Toyota and drove there to pick it up. On the way to the dealership, the vehicle broke down at the gas station. I eventually got it to start and proceeded to pick up the part from the dealer. When I arrived, I stopped by the sales counter and spoke with the same sales manager (Casey Williams) who assisted in selling me the vehicle. I wasn’t asking for money, a free repair, or anything unreasonable. I simply asked if their service department could clear the codes after I replaced the part myself. Instead of getting any help, I was laughed at by the sales team behind the counter and treated like I was wasting their time. The sales staff sat around and couldn’t have seemed less interested in helping someone who had just bought a vehicle from them. So I went outside, opened the hood, and started repairing the vehicle in the dealership parking lot. While replacing the purge valve, I ran into one small problem: I didn’t have the correct size screwdriver to remove the mounting bolt. I took the part into the service department and asked if someone could spend literally a few seconds loosening a single bolt so I could finish the repair. Again, I got a hard time and nobody could be bothered to help. Think about how ridiculous that is. I had purchased the vehicle from Olathe Toyota less than 1,000 miles earlier. I bought the replacement part from Olathe Toyota. I was standing in Olathe Toyota’s parking lot repairing the vehicle myself. I wasn’t asking anyone to pay for the repair. I wasn’t asking for free labor. I simply needed help loosening one bolt and later clearing a code, and both the sales and service departments acted like helping was beneath them. In the end, I fixed the vehicle myself in their parking lot. The part solved the problem and I hope this review will make you have second thoughts about doing business with Olathe Toyota. The issue wasn’t the failed purge valve. Mechanical problems happen. The issue was the complete lack of customer service after the sale. Based on my experience, once the paperwork is signed, don’t expect much interest or even the bare minimum in helping you if something goes wrong. >In response to Olathe Toyota’s reply, there are several inaccuracies on their end that need to be corrected. The first thing I said when I walked up to the sales counter was that I had just purchased the vehicle from Olathe Toyota and was already dealing with a check engine light and drivability issues less than 1,000 miles later. I simply asked if the service department could clear the codes after I installed the replacement part myself, in no way was I asking sales to work on the car themselves. The reaction I received was not one of concern or willingness to help. Instead, I felt like my questions were being laughed off. To reiterate, I was not asking to borrow tools. After beginning the repair myself in their parking lot, I discovered I did not have the correct size screwdriver to loosen the mounting bolt. I removed the part and brought it directly into the service department, asking if someone could take a few seconds to break the bolt loose so I could complete the repair myself. I wasn’t asking them to diagnose the vehicle, perform the repair, or provide free labor. The sales/service department had no interest in helping a recent customer with a very reasonable request. Their reply does not accurately reflect the experience. ”
“ I purchased a 2025 Toyota Camry from Olathe Toyota last week. The day after taking delivery, I noticed a dent on the vehicle and returned to the dealership to discuss the issue. During my visit, the store manager stated that he had personally inspected the vehicle before delivery and claimed the dent was not present at that time. However, after reviewing the dealership's online listing, I found that the dent is clearly visible in the advertised photos posted on their website. This directly contradicts the manager's statement. What is most disappointing is not just the dent itself, but the dealership's unwillingness to acknowledge what is plainly visible in their own advertising materials. As a customer who had just made a significant purchase, I expected honesty, transparency, and a genuine effort to address the issue. Instead, I was met with denials despite evidence showing otherwise. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in Olathe Toyota and raises concerns about the accuracy of the information they provide regarding their vehicles. I would encourage prospective buyers to carefully inspect any vehicle before purchase and verify all claims independently. Very disappointing experience. ”
“ Apparently all money isn't green. We were told they would only sell to locals. Cash in hand for a $60,000 vehicle isn't acceptable. ”
Been coming here for decades and bought 4 new cars
“ Been coming here for decades and bought 4 new cars here. we’re done because the service center has gotten so bad (and expensive - shop around!). This last visit, i took my truck in for service and dropped it off. they said they would call me when it was done and never called. Showed up shortly after 5 and found them closed. Called and talked to some sales manager and was able to come in the next day to get it. but without the threat of me just coming to get it anyway, I would have been stuck til Monday. Also they wrote down my card info. Yikes! PCI violations? The service department never once called me back to apologize or even acknowledge what happened. They’ve really gone down hill the past few years. I would recommend going to legends toyota if you have to get toyota service and staying away from this place. ”
“ Warm welcome. Kept time and good service ”
“ 4 hous for oil change and tirerotation with zero communication ”
“ I bought 4 tires from the dealership and when heading home after picking my car up one of the tires blew up on the highway. I was going 70mph and it was pretty scary. I called the dealership and they were nice enough to send a tow truck... that took 2 hours to actually pick me up. Once I got back to the dealership, the people did not seem to really care and said they would replace the tire the following week. I do not typically get upset or post reviews but this was pretty crazy. They clearly did not see that this could have been a way worse outcome. When I picked up my car they told me they replaced my tire without charge...I would sure hope not! I understand things happen and that you cant predict when something like this happens, but it is still a product you are selling and the people should have treated their costumer better. Tires are not cheap. I do not see myself going back to this location. ”
“ Our experience at this dealership was unacceptable. A routine oil change with a "tire alignment" turned into nearly four hours, with zero proactive communication about timelines or status. As a loyal Toyota owner who purchased from this dealership, I expected competence and transparency. Instead, we were left in the dark and treated with indifference. We will not be returning to this dealership for any future service or purchases. We're switching our loyalty to Merriam Toyota and encourage others to consider alternatives until this location demonstrates real accountability and respect for customers. ”

“ The parts department worker is very useful and he double check the parts for me and make sure everything is correct. I highly appreciate the service level they provide and the sales person in that department also friendly and welcoming, it’s a great location to get genuine Toyota parts for sure.highly recommend to anyone who needs genuine Toyota parts. ”
